Is your personality more like your mother’s or your father’s?

Oh dear God, like my father’s.  I guess it’s inevitable fact that my personality is like my mother’s in some ways but…I hope as few as possible.  Certainly my emotionality is much like hers… /sigh.  But my dad is so much more easy-going, open-minded, taciturn, quiet, pensive, realistic, patient, among other things…which I like to think I lean towards, at least when compared to my mother… -__-

Describe your first experience with death.

My grandfather died when I was like 4 or something…6?  I dunno.  In my short-lived and naive attachment to him, I found him to be a wonderful human being.  Especially when compared to all the selfish and crummy assholes that populate this earth and I’ve encountered since the ignorantly blissful age of 4 (or 6) I cried at the funeral…a lot…not just because I would miss him, but because death itself is so overwhelmingly sad and changing and permanent.  It affects so many people.

The days that Splash and Cadence die…well, I’m crying already.

Name someone who has significantly influenced the way you see the world.

Christophe has.  As he and I grew closer, I opened my eyes and my mind to so many things foreign to me.  He showed me the value of considering the ways that other people live their lives, no matter how different it is from how I live mine…and it’s truly helped me to appreciate every person for who they are.  He’s shown me how different everyone is simply by nature of different backgrounds and upbringings…but through this I’ve learned to see the beauty in and what I can learn myself, from those differences.  He’s shown me the value of patience, of discipline, of self-restraint…and of living your life for others.  He’s brought me to extremes I’ve never known.  He made me realize what I want to live for and what real happiness means to me.  Most importantly, he brought the true love within me to life and has proven to me that there are truly wonderful, good, people in the world.

What were the must-have toys when you were a kid?

I remember when Furby was huge.  I had 2…then I threw them out my window eventually.  The razor scooter was huge too, and I used it for a total of a few days.  There was tamagachi and nano-pets…I had a couple of those.  All my other choice toys were mostly animal figurines, littlest pet shop stuff, poly pocket, and BEANIE BABIESSSS <33

Of course, N64 and computer games were superior to all of these.

If you could banish any one person from your life who would it be? Why?

Max is already banished from my life…and I’m sure he’s never coming back.  What would be best is if I could erase him altogether.  But life and time don’t work like that.

Describe the longest road trip you’ve ever taken.

I’ve never been on much of a road trip per se…where you just bounce from location to location on your own.  We did travel from city to city in Mexico…by bus or whatever…in 8th grade.  No idea the total distance…

Other than that, I’ve just been to Florida and back countless times with my family <3

What’s the perfect age to retire? How will you know you’re ready?

Oh be fucked if I know.  I never want to grow old, so I don’t give these sorts of questions any thought whatsoever.

What is your favorite Summer sound?

The bustle of the downtown mall on a lovely summer evening. This includes laughter and singing and lively conversation and guitar strumming and shuffling of flip flops .

This might change however, once I go to Hawaii in 2.5 weeks.
